Description
The Black Knights strike with precision, taking down the legendary birds in a single, breathtaking swoop! But the battle is far from over -- parachuting Blackhawks are stranded in a fissure, just a talon away from becoming the next meal. Meanwhile, King Condor seizes his moment, completing the Phoenix statue and edging closer to immortality! This pulse-pounding page from "King Condor's Fabulous Birds, Chapter Two" is brought to life with bold inks by Chuck Cuidera, Blackhawk's legendary co-creator and original artist from its groundbreaking 1941 run at Quality Comics! Twice-up scale page rendered in ink over graphite on Bristol board, with an image area of 13" x 18".

Great DC large art piece!  This mixed more fantasy to the war genre that played to the new wave of enthusiasm of the Silver Age!
