Description

Two beautifully detailed panel illustrations from Mike Grell in this early Spawn spinoff series featuring Vlad the Impaler as Spawn! These two panel illustrations were used in the first flashback page of Vlad as he retells his tragic story that would lead him to eternal damnation and how we would become Spawn. There's no mistaking that the style is very similar to that in the Bram Stoker's Dracula movie made by Francis for Copolla just a couple years earlier. It appears that these panels were illustrated separately and layered onto a painted background of the page. Finished in dark graphite and measuring approximately 8"x11" and in excellent condition.
