DescriptionHere's a classic page of "The Amazing Morph" Artwork by the late great English/British comic animator Bill Mevin (1922-2009) that appeared in the Pippin comic around 1983.The stop-animation claymation character Morph from the Aardman Studio of Wallace and Gromit fame, first appeared on our screens way back in 1977 on the much loved children's TV art programme, Take Hart, featuring the late great artist Tony Hart (1925-2009). Morph lived in a box on Hart's table and constantly got up to mischief always evading the snooping caretaker Mr Griffiths. Mevin also did art for Doctor Who, various TV Comic characters, newspaper cartoon strip, The Perishers, and even worked on the feature-length animation film Animal Farm. The art itself is on an acid-free board measuring 13 in x 18 in or 340mm x 45 Social/Sharing |
