DescriptionPeter David was an amazing writer. One of my favourites. I was a big fan of his character development and sharp, witty dialogue. I picked up his initial X-Factor run for an expansion of the X-Men universe and the cool art; I was so pleasantly surprised to find the book was a great read too.Peter Davids work on Spider-Man 2099 was no different with complex characters and emotional struggles. I scanned these pages originally for the color art but with Peter’s recent passing I felt I had to scan his magic words as well. Very happy to own Steve Buccellato’s guides to issue #25. I love Spider-Man 2099’s design. Beautiful work by Rick Leonardi and Al Williamson. I should really track down some OA from this run and break my X-Men focus. And now I must go read Peter David’s work on Hulk which I never had the chance to do. Social/Sharing |
