Shield Page for Impact Comics

Impact Comics was DC's attempt to create a fun, all ages line of superheroes using the characters created by Archie Comics. I have done a little research on this page, though I know I should do more, and am pretty sure it is from a Shield backup from Comet Annual #1 from 1992. It was written by Mark Waid and Illustrated by Alan Kupperberg, t hough he went by a pen name Allen Tucker. I am not sure why he did that. I have accidentally been picking up pages by Kupperberg over t he years and I think he was a good, capable artist. Even though this is not a superhero page, it is still dynamic. It is interesting to note that Kupperberg used Marvel paper stock to create this.
