Description

"Waking in Dreamland" by Jody Lynn Nye is a fantasy novel published in 1998. It is the first book in the "Dreamland" series. The story takes place in Dreamland, a realm where people go when they sleep and where the inhabitants can change form at any time. The main character, Roan, is unusual because he always remains
"normal" in this shifting world. He must protect the Seven Sleepers from an evil force.

Wow. What a trip!!! But a beautifully rendered trip courtesy of the great Stephen Hickman! I only wish my dreams were as vibrant (though I'm happy to avoid the 7 evil threats from the story!) Thanks for posting this art and also for providing the story synopsis to inform our visual journey!
