You know if this was a Marvel page there would be a big sound effect to mar that bottom panel!

Thanks, Miki! Excellent observation! I didn't realize that. DC war comics also are littered with sound effects, but not Dell's war comics.

I read a lot of Marvel war comics but very little DC, Charlton or Dell. My favorite war comics were actually the British Commando comics.
