Paul Rivoche, artist and co-creator of Mister X, famous for his covers and posters in the 1980s promoting the series, created some never-before seen covers for Mister X and they're all outstanding.

He said he was having fun putting long-standing ideas about that project onto paper, things that never got done back in the day. This is the second in a series of pretend covers ("The Unseen/Unknown Mister X") called "Lair of the Murderbots".

I've previously posted another called "Trail of the Sewer Snake".

Dated Oct. 6, 2023 on 12"x17" DC art board.

The composition has a great EC sci-fi look to it with the circle frame separating Mister X from the murderbots. Meanwhile, it's drawn in the minimalist Toth style to have a sense of crime noir.
