If this wasn't published it should have been since it's so well done. Drawn on 11x17 DC board. I have to ask, did Thor actually wear this costume? It doesn't look familiar to me. Many thanks to Will K for gifting me this piece at OAX 2025. My first Machlan artwork.

I'm guessing you have a one of a kind Thor costume. But who knows, maybe it will make a comeback. By the way, Will is a super guy and one of my favorite people on CAF.

Aw shucks!! Anyway, at the top it says "Thor - my way". So I think this is Machlan's original design.

Peak goldilocks Thor! You might have to bone up on your Journey Into Mystery and Tales of Asgard reprints to see if Kirby ever used this outfit when Thor was younger.

Very cool -- reminds me a bit of Bob Layton's Hercules. I've really been enjoying seeing all of the Mike Machlan art turn up recently and it's a pity he didn't get more of his work published.
