Disco Dazzler w/ Outback Dazzler Chibi by Rian Gonzales

I've been taken with Rian Gonzales' art for a while now. I like the bright Lisa Frank, Trapper Keeper aesthetic that she brings. I tried to play Snap, but it didn't take for me, though I do like all of the cards she creates for the game, and I've loved many of her variant covers, she often has the characters in joyous and playful poses which I enjoy.

This piece includes many of the staples from Rian that I had hoped to see, fun chibi alternative version of the character, stars, hearts, flowers, and even the bio glitter effects.

There was a long wait for the commission, 15 months, but she did upgrade the piece in size from 9x12 to 12x12, which I appreciated, and she said she gave her very best effort, I expected nothing less, but I appreciated that she acknowledged the wait and that she tried to make up for it. Made with gouache, watercolor, ink, and bioglitter.
