Description
As a longtime Chaykin fan, this page is a great example of everything I admire about his work. The graphic design of the layout is sharp and purposeful, guiding your eye while still packing a punch. Every panel is doing real narrative work, and the composition is tight and deliberate.
This era of Chaykin’s career is especially fun to revisit. He was playing with form and style in ways that still feel fresh. The facial expressions here are fantastic, full of attitude and energy. The way he handles movement, posture, and pacing shows his deep understanding of visual storytelling.
This is design and illustration working together to serve the story. A really strong page from one of comics’ most distinct voices.

I love those close ups!  They are of the roided out buff meaty faces of the 80's!

Nice page with quintessential Chaykin facial expressions!

I thoroughly enjoyed Power & Glory.  Gorski was a great character with dark humour while Apex has a number of standout scenes!
