A great era of Batman comics with sales fueled by the Tim Burton movie! Batmania was back in a big way in 1991! Jim Aparo was at legend status being the longest tenured working artist in the Bat family of books. Here, you will see that distinct Aparo brow on the cowl, the facial expressions, and the body language of the lean and athletic Batman we've all come to know through the years!
Sick! Badass Aparo Batman battle page. I remember the cover to this issue especially so well with that almost Gotham By Gaslight imagery which only came out a few years prior. But my main takeaway from this particular page from the book is to go eat some good curry, thanks for the nudge Bruce! nice page bro!
Superb lettering for sure!
Gritty stuff for Aparo!
A solid page all around!
