Description

The Eel and the Viper are breaking out on this first page of the Steve Englehart story "Beware of Serpents!" This splash page was created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". There are many production stains on the page. The top banner and bottom indicia are stat paste-ups. Signed by Sal Buscema in the center right side of the image area (next to the Eel's "ZAP!")

C'mon is a great splash page. These are almost always great. They are like the 'movie preview' for the whole issue.

Gotta love an Eel page! Nice work from Sal, with a great viewing point to show the threat advancing towards the reader.
