Karate Kid vs. Wolverine (Laura Kinney) by Robert Gill

I think that I first saw Robert Gill's art in a couple issues of Batgirl, back before he started drawing many different Valiant and Marvel comics. He was good then, and getting better with every book, but when he started drawing X-Force at Marvel, Robert really started blowing me away. So, when I got the opportunity to commission him, I leapt at the chance! For this "Karate Kid vs." commission, we went with Laura Kinney as Val Armorr's opponent, and I asked Robert to draw her in her Wolverine costume from his run on X-Force. Robert came up with some scenario here where I'm guessing Karate Kid was spying on the X-Men from some trees, and Wolverine has come after him, thinking he's up to no good! Laura looks fierce here, with all her claws out and her hair flowing, and Val is definitely getting out of her way while also swinging that left arm to hopefully knock Laura away! Both characters look fantastic, and I really dig the tree limbs! Thanks, Robert!

Laura Kinney is an excellent hand-to-hand fighter, she has Adamantium bones and claws, a healing factor, and enhanced senses. This all means she may last a few seconds more than most opponents for Karate Kid. But ultimately, she's still going down. Val can outfight Laura anytime, and if she gets too violent, well, Val has broken Inertron before, so I'm betting he can break Adamantium, too, if he needs to.
