Description
Page feature the entire (?) Great Lakes Avengers/G.L.A., at least from this point in the 2005 series. In the top panel from left to right, we have a just-betrayed-them Leather Boy (wearing a Doctor Doom outfit), Big Bertha, a very out-of-costume Mr. Immortal, Doorman, and Flatman. In the lower panels, we also have a grieving Squirrel Girl.

Smaller image shows word balloons and sound effects, which are stuck onto an exterior clear bag with adhesive. (See smaller image; bag gives art a little grayer appearance)

Art by Paul Pelletier and Rick Magyar.

I think Squirrel Girl may be nuts, but I like the page.  It reminds me of the early New Mutant vibe.

"Nuts." Heh-heh. I see what ya did there :D

Chalk it up to grief. Leather Boy, disguised as Doctor Doom, had just killed Squirrel Girl's beloved squirrel, Monkey Joe.

What an a-hole!  Kick him out of the team and report him to the A.S.P.C.A.

What a contrast of Bertha and Flat Man!  A play on JLA's success, GLA  had a comedic bent, but Pelletier and Magyar took the art pretty seriously.
