Rice Ball - Spirited Away

Originally part of Reanimated: An Exhibition in Celebration of Animation, a group show at Giant Robot Store that ran from July 5th, 2025 - July 20th, 2025.

I've followed Parakid's work for a couple years now. They did a beautiful Arietty piece a couple years back, as well as a piece called Liminal Space at Nucleus earlier this year I particularly enjoyed, among many others. As I've restricted my collecting to Miyazaki pieces this year though, I knew this piece represented the perfect opportunity to finally add one of their works to my collection as soon as I saw it previewed before the exhibition.
