A young Selina Kyle makes her first appearance in a flashback scene at the end of Issue 2 of DC's landmark Absolute Batman run. Nick Dragotta has been central to the book's success due to his unique, instantly recognizable art style. Drawing on influences by Jack Kirby, Katsuhiro Otomo, Alex Toth, and Frank Miller, Dragotta stands on the shoulders of giants while defining his own visual language that is novel within Batman comics.

Awesome splashy intro for this world's Catwoman. An homage that echoes the Batman Year One Catwoman with the dark noir now mixed with the manga influence.

A nice, fun looking introduction splash! I still haven't gotten past the first issue, but intend to when I get some free time to do so.
