If a picture paints a thousand words
A blur of crimson blue
The words will never show
The true Infantino
If a page could launch a thousand spins
Then there's a big new foe
There's telephone for you
You're all that's lift me too
And when my love for life inks running dry
You come and pour your inks on me
Superman could be two pages at one time
I'd be with you
Tomorrow and today
Beside you Oksner page
Supergirl should stop revolving
Spinning slowly down turbines
I'd spend the end with you
Electric works was through
Then one by one the art would all go out
Then you and I would simply buy a page
I've heard several collectors say that while they like the early Silver Age infantino, they can't stand the early 80's Infantino. While the Silver Age style was certainly simpler and cleaner, I think it was a nice progression.
I think it
all depends the inker. Carmine inked by Bob was great!
Awesome top panel with Supergirl's motion parallell to the circling turbine!
You never have enought Infantino/Oksner Supergirl pages!
