Harris Supergirl's infatuation with Peter Barton grows as she ponders the mystery of the disappearance of the sci-fi writer, Brad Reynolds. The top panel shows a transformation of Supergirl into her civilian identity of Linda Danvers. And the page highlights, just how good of a romance artist Don Heck was. Giella had to be mindful on the polka dot placement ;)
Groovy page!

I've been trying hard for Pete
Just Super Family
But it's no good boy
I'll get mystery
Sci-Fi read you so much more
With each page that passes by
You don't seem to care
Pete’s making out Myles
So I'm packing up my bags
Gonna ink my Giella page
Get myself as Linda
I can't go Don this way
Oh, Miki, baby
I'm gonna leave you
I'm gonna leave you, baby

Giella certainly helped smooth out Heck's lines around the edges, making them, and thereby the characters, more attractive. Her face in the final panel is almost Buscema-like! Great reverse transformation, too!

I love the transformation panel! I always liked Heck's Supergirl.
