LeRoy Neiman (1921 - 2012) created the Playboy Femlin girl mascot, who appeared on the Joke Page in each issue of Playboy Magazine. She was brought to animated life for the Playboy Video Magazine in the 1980s, seen in the opening and closing credits.

Playboy Video Magazine was literally a video version of the publication. It included candid celebrity interviews, video editorials, the trademark playmate pictorials, interwoven with commercial parodies and short comedy sketches. The series also covered trends in media; sex, politics, culture, and pop culture.

The original drawings that were published in Playboy magazine are very collectible and not cheap. This being just an animation drawing was considerably cheaper.

Cool, I wasn't even aware that there was such a thing as animated Femlin art! Good to hear it was considerably cheaper than the ones from the magazine. They're really neat and I almost got one once, but ultimately decided I didn't "need" one for the type of money they go for. Oh and don't worry, Miki, I KNOW you only subscribed to the Playboy video series for the interviews.

Cool! A Playboy related animation illustration/cel was not on my bingo card to see today but its pretty cool to see it. I fondly remember the mag in the 90s for the illustrations and the articles primarily, yup like everyone else 💯
