This is a big one. Ryan and I were asked about 4 years back to do the art for an officially licensed crowd funded book for Vampire Hunter D. This project was under the watchful eye of the creator Hideyuki Kikuchi. A totally insane and once in a lifetime opportunity. This was also one of my very last full book inking jobs...so it's got a few special significances to it.
The Graphic Novel crowd funder raised almost 1 million dollars between the two campaigns and is shipping soon. Ryan and I are not directly involved in that process but I do know that the digital assets are in backers hands now. I was told they were waiting on a few of the variant covers to be completed and then the book will print.

inked over a blue line of the pencils...art is on 11X17 hand inked by me on DC comics bristol board using high quality archival Ultradraw india ink, with a Hunt 102 crow quill, Raphael Kolinksy Sable Brush, and rapidographs.
