Description

I enjoy the melodrama of this era of Life With Archie, and this page with pencils and inks by Bob White and written by Sy Reit delivers. Poor Jughead Jones is in the hospital! His pal Archie Andrews and not-so-pal Reggie Mantle come to visit him. Then, in runs Dilton Doiley with more bad news, rushing past Betty Cooper and Veronica Lodge as they flirt with a hunky doctor. What will happen next, Archie fans?

Size: a mammoth 13.5 x 20, which makes these clean lines really pop!

On the back is a bonus pencil sketch, presumably also by Bob White, of an unknown man and woman smooching. This might be the above-mentioned hunky doc and a pretty nurse who appears in the story, though they never actually kiss in the book itself.
