Description

A hand-drawn Ralph McQuarrie cover concept from Kevin J. Anderson and Rebecca Moesta's Star Wars: Jabba's Palace Pop-Up Book. Gamorrean guard Jubnuk searched through the palace to help find Jabba's missing lucky charm.

Hand-drawn by Ralph McQuarrie, this lot consists of a hand-painted acetate cel of "Star Wars Jabba the Hutt's Palace Pop-Up Book" adhered to an illustration board that is layered to fold over the concept cover art rendered in mixed media on illustration paper, featuring McQuarrie's signature along the bottom. Pieces created by McQuarrie rendered in color are very rare. This lot exhibits minor tape residue along the edge. Dimensions: (board) 9" x 13" (23 cm x 33 cm)
