Description
Seeing Jimmy at conventions I would sometimes ask if he would be sketching. The answer was invariably no. In the end, however, he took pity on me and did this quick head sketch a couple of years after his Jonah Hex series with Justin Gray. Thank you Jimmy!

I think he drew the sketch at the 2013 Baltimore Con where he interviewed Stan Lee. That was a fun panel. I recall thinking at the time that it's too bad Jimmy can't do all of Stan's con interviews.

This piece reminds me of Ultimate Spider-Man #1 Pg. 18.

Hahaha! Thanks, John. And when the Government of the United States finally got around to figuring it out -- it was too late.

If only Stan signed this too.  A Palmiotti true believer!

Hahaha! Prefer no Stan Lee signatures unless he wrote the dialogue...

However, his signature is among those on the inside back cover of the sketchbook...

Fun sketch and a great story. very nice of Jimmy to do it for you. Wouldve loved to have seen that panel at 2013 Baltimore. And I have a feeling John Cs comment above was a joke about my most recent post from earlier today but I can only do so much with my mega powered AI machine ;-p

Feels like Jimmy was going for a Moebius inspired look!
