Devon Sanders, manager of the local comic shop I frequented in the early 2000s, got me hooked on sketchbooks and original comic art. He would occasionally show the latest sketchbook drawing to customers, inspiring me to start one for San Diego Comicon 2004. The book runs from that year to 2017 plus two sketches in 2024. The art is listed in the order it appears in the book. That order sometimes isn't chronological because I would forget to bookmark for the artist where to put the sketch. Sometimes an artist would forget, skipping ahead in the book. Later on I asked artists to use skipped pages to help complete the book. Several sketches are by the artist who co-created the character such as Aqualad and Metamorpho by Ramon Fradon, Captain America by Joe Simon, and Dondi and Wildcat by Irwin Hasen. Thanks for looking!
