I write the following with a heavy heart. Rest in peace Dan T. You were one of the absolute best in this hobby and I am so thankful to have met you.

I made the trip to WVPopCon yesterday to see Jim Rugg and Tom Scioli. I sincerely appreciate the fact that they came to Morgantown,WV for a con.

I picked up Tom Scioli's new book �Space Opera Xanadax Across the Unknown Dimensions of the Galaxy�, along with a copy of �Godzilla's Monsterpiece Theatre� in TPB format. As I was going through Jim's portfolio this Wolverine immediately caught my eye. At first glance I thought it might be trading card art, but it's actually a published DPS panel.

It's a great image of Bub, and one with Jim's clean line work on full display. As soon as I got home with this, I immediately thought of Dan. He absolutely loved Jim Rugg and he would have been the first I would have told about this cool little squirrel.

This one is for you Dan. You will be missed my friend.

Very cool Rugg piece to be able to find in person at a show near you and one Dan would have really enjoyed to see you add to your collection. A great tribute.

Dan wouldve loved this. Especially because it isnt Cyclops. And he wouldve said only a genius like Jim Rugg would know not to draw Cyclops - the worst character

Great piece Tyler and a really lovely remembrance. I thought about making the trip to WV for the con but work held me up. Hope to see you at the Eddie P Con next month!
