Description

Fun page from the early 2000s The Brave and the Bold series featuring a never-before-told Silver Age flashback story. Characters featured, include: Robin, Wonder Girl, Kid Flash, Aquaman, Mera, the Atom, Wonder Woman, Green Arrow, Batman, Aqualad, and Oceanus. Why no Speedy? He "couldn't find his earrings," per Green Arrow!

I've been reading some actual Silver Age Teen Titans comics, and though I appreciate everything these classic books brought to the comics world, some of the issues can be a chore to get through with all the pseudo-hip lingo :D But I really enjoy flashback takes on the team like this that are written from a more modern perspective.

Pencils by George Perez, inks by Scott Koblish (though the printed book credits Bob Wiacek).

The underwater adventure and setting by Perez reminds me of those NTT 45-47 issues where the Titans put an end to HIVE in their underwater base. It's all out detail by Perez!
