Fantastic Four vol 8 #2 pg 17 by Humberto Ramos, 2025 -- Doom reveals why he will always win!

During an epic battle with Sorcerer Supreme Doom, the four FF team members are magically teleported by Doom to four very different eras of human history. Sue, in the farthest future, is tasked with calling forth a time sled and going back in time to rescue Johnny, Thing and Reed.

In a scene that brings back fond memories of the end of Back To The Future 2, the team reappears in their time sled a nanosecond after Doom has sent them back (and forward) in time.

Remember Doc's stunned reaction as Marty runs up to him? "No, it can't be. I just sent you back to the future!" Marty: "I know you did send me back to the future, but I'm back. I'm back from the future."

So, Doom is rather shocked when the FF suddenly appear. They engage in battle once again, and once again, the team is winning.

But then (on this page) Doom reveals the ace up his sleeve. He has set up a 'save state' for the moment before the FF attacked him. If things go wrong and he is defeated, he can simply reset the universe back to that save state moment, with only his memories intact. And each time he resets, he has more information to use to defeat the FF the next time around, since as he says, "Every time -- every time, Richards --- you tell me exactly what you did."

It's good to be the Sorcerer Supreme.

Love that 4th panel where Reed and the others realize how screwed they are.
