Wow, Miki - this is AWESOME! As I was reading this book, I got to this spread and thought of you (no joking), hoping I might ultimately see it in your collection... Congrats on scoring it! I thought it was a really fun project: a great premise with some real emotional weight that acted as the perfect excuse to wander around the DCU, celebrate Superman, and let Bryan and Kevin be Bryan and Kevin. And along with the (expected) beautifully illustrated, impeccably inked, character-driven moments we also got these (just-as-expected!) Hitchian "kitchen sink" explosions of action: beatdowns as story beats. And this is just crazy, with the flailing limbs and exactingly-orchestrated cacophony allowing so many nooks and crannies for the viewer to explore and discover new hidden Legionnaires... but still with enough room to allow Saturn Girl (and the Emerald Empress!) a chance to smile. :) And SO cool that it's on one board, right? I know they're trickier to store, but I always feel that not having the physical break of two single pages stitched together allows the image to feel more realized and intentionally sculpted. Such an intense and fun piece, Miki! Sincere congrats on landing it!

A staggering number of characters, with so much effort having gone into this DPS. It's a good thing this page can be blown up, to see the extraordinary variety of poses. Nice, action-packed DPS!
