Description

Literally a characters birth page. I’ve been wanting this cover for a long time. Aside from the fact that this cover and issue feature the first appearance of Jonathan Kent, this story brought back a classic version of the character and got rid of the new52 version. Brought in a familial aspect to the character that was continued in the Lois & Clark book and eventually the Tomasi/Gleason run. And ultimately it’s what brought me back to reading Superman comics again so I have a lot of nostalgic fondness for everything this represents

The Superman and Lois would have been enough to sell the comic, but adding Batman is what lakes it a Lee Weeks cover. I mean he signs it next to Batman.

Lee Weeks at his finest! A great Superman and Lois cover with a Batman bonus. What's not to love?

Fabulous cover, although I think Batman should be getting some hot water and newspapers to help with the delivery instead of just standing there (if there's one thing that old TV shows taught me, it's that you need hot water and newspapers when delivering a baby outside of a hospital).
