Description
1940’s Black Cat is one of my favourite characters. Love the whole Hollywood glamour actress by day and bike riding, Judo throwing, superheroine by night. Fantastically brought to life by Joe Kubert in this issue of Speed comics 37. (Page 3 of story but page 27 of comic). It’s listed on the art as page 26. Published in 1945

Cool to see a real Black Cat introducing Black Cat - and that wild final panel!

Getting into the Ouanga business, I see.  Great transformation with just the Cats face in the thin center panel  The circle panel as the main image is such a staple of the Golden Age!

Love all the faces.  Tremendous inking also. And the forties circle panel.  Great score!
