I am an Englishman who has lived almost his entire life overseas. I was born in 1973 in the Southeast of England near London but left to live in Saudi Arabia in 1976. Three years there and then onto San Francisco until mid 1982. That was followed by a year or so in Korea and then eventually back to England in 1984. There I remained until 1992 when I started working for an Engineering company at 19. Since then I've worked in Abu Dhabi, Azerbaijan, Germany, Thailand, Kazakhstan, India and currently Russia.
I started collecting comic art around the mid 90's but I didn't earn a lot and it was hard to get hold off when you are in the middle of the Saudi desert.
Still in the years that followed I managed to get art by some of my favourite artists. There are still gaps but I like to think I'm doing ok.
I'm a big fan of Brian Bolland and Arthur Adams' work as well as Frank Miller on the Wolverine mini-series and John Byrne's X-Men run. I have a soft spot for the original run on the X-Men by John Romita Jr. and many many other artists and titles. My wants list has most of what I'm looking for so please take a look.
