Modern maestro of cover designs!  If he can make a living on just designing covers for others, his imprint would be even greater felt than the covers he finishes off himself.

i'm no artist but i'd pay to watch him lecture on creating a cover.  flipping through those prelims is freaking incredible.  he does trial and error and if the publisher asks for changes he has to redo it.  over the years i've probably picked up half a dozen at least.  i'll get around to posting them all one day.....

but this one is by far my favorite of the bunch so i had to post it right away.  it'll look great next to my bruce timm alien prelim or my james stokoe alien sketch (which i don't think i've posted here yet.......)
