One of the best of the series and of the fantasy adventure genre.  Russell creates a cover worthy of a sci-fi movie poster that came out in the mid 70's.

This is a great cover by an up-and-coming P. Craig Russell on one of those weird "only at 70s Marvel" comics that linger in the memory long after a lot of the superhero stuff fades away.

Beautiful cover! I recall that vividly as an early comic that my brother brought home. The excitement and the danger are palpable, and the explosion is placed perfectly to entice a comic purchase. Superb.
