Description
One of the earliest Pre-Crisis comics I got in a trade with a friend was Superman #370, which featured Superman battling the monster-behemoth Chemo. Because of that early interaction, I always associated Chemo as a Superman bad guy. However, I would later learn that he was originally the nemesis for the Metal Men in his first appearance.

So being that I really wanted an example of JLGL(PBHN), and one that would preferably have a classic image of Superman, seeing this climax page where Superman tosses Chemo into orbit (a clear and decisive super-hero power trip fantasy win) really checked a lot of boxes for me!

This title launch era of the title capitalized on the first Reeve movie and gave us some slamming Superman action!  Garcia Lopez at his best and would soon define Superman and the rest of DC for the new decade.

This is an amazing addition to your Superman art collection! Congrats on ticking off the JLGL box on your want list. Any Superman fan would be happy to own this. The foreshortening of the Superman image in the final tier of panels is outstanding and worth the price of admission by itself!
