"Even little bears expect a good fright when they go out for treats on Halloween night."

This original 15" x 15" gouache and airbrush painting on heavy Bristol board was used in the 1989 The Berenstain Bears Official 12 Month Calendar for the month of October.

Brother gets into the spirit of the season by spooking Sister with a giant grinning jack-o-lantern, which sits illuminated on the Bear family's kitchen table. Boo!

Very cool airbrush finishes as was the fashion back in the 80's! It highlights the Jack O Lantern glow!
