An other amazing Yukio Izumi cover from his Shōnen Detectives manga series. The Shonen detectives are a group of young under the leadership of Kogoro Akechi, a famous detective. Kogoro Akechi is a fictional detective created by famous Japanese mystery writer Edogawa Ranpo. The young man looks like he came straight out of Tetsujin 28-gō (鉄人28号)!

Yukio Izumi was a very prolific artist and can be found in all major publications between 1957 and 1974. He started his career in rental Manga (1957) and evolved into the mangazines such as Shōnen Gaho, Manga King, Adventure King, Shōnen King, Ribbon etc ... The presence of robots in his stories is almost unavoidable, his titles read like pure sci-fi and always appeal to the imagination; Decisive Battle in the Sky, Tank Boy, Space Rocket War, Majutsushi and the Boy Detectives.
