John Constantine: Hellblazer Dead in America #1 p.16

Dream (Daniel, with a couple of cats tagging along) reveals himself to John Constantine (who doesn't know Morpheus is dead yet) in this climatic page of issue 1.

Picked this up from Aaron at the 2025 Baltimore Comic Con. Aaron explained that he used several of his tricks on this page, and it's an amazing sight in person. The red he used for the background is calligraphy ink that is dye-based, rather than pigment-based, so he could spray a little bleach on it to get the color variations. The crackle effect was achieved by using salt. Then layering of the blacks used a couple of additional techniques. I was blown away by this page as soon as I saw it.
