I loved Dave Gibbons work as a kid ,so i had to find a piece for the collection .I fell for this piece quite quickly .Its just fun ,Taking your hellhound for a walk through hell while having an ice Lolly .I like the care free composition . also the small watchmen badge detail.I dont know what it was for ,but to me it has a feel of a piece done for a convention book then raffled for charity .I have that nagging feeling i saw it many years ago but cant place it .

A lovely piece. I can't place it either, but a convention book seems likely. Great use of light and shade, and characteristically gorgeous inks.
