Duke Sketch Card Art Book 2023 13/50 King Kong

This was a truly special commission. The piece is a portrait of King Kong, drawn in my Sketch Card Artbook.

What made it an honor was the client: Allan Henry, the talented mocap actor who performs as King Kong in the modern Monsterverse films (Godzilla vs. Kong, Godzilla x Kong).

I had the privilege of driving to Forest City Comic Con in London, Ontario, to meet Mr. Henry and hand-deliver the completed artbook to him. He was incredibly kind, and it was an absolute pleasure to connect with the artist who brings the king to life on screen.
