Description

After they're stuck on the roof trying to fix a TV antennae, Reggie Mantle cons Archie Andrews out of his pants, claiming that Archie's checkerboard pants (matching his checkerboard hair?) are stronger than Reggie's own pants, and then they can both use them as a rope to climb down. Of course, this is Reggie we're talking about, so things don't go quite as planned for Archie...

Pencils by Harry Lucey; not sure if the inks are also by Lucey or by another artist, so if anyone can provide that info, I'll gladly update this post!

When a man asks you to remove your pants, it's not going to end well. At least Archie can show off his legs when he walks home. In a quiet town like Riverdale, they won't bring it back up until when it would be the most humiliating.
