DC - ABSOLUTE SUPERMAN # 1 - FABRIZIO DE TOMMASO - VARIANT -

I'm a sucker for stories behind pages in collections and love any history behind them.

This one has both for me! I was looking for something special to use as an exclusive for some 'new' idea that DC comics had last year called the Absolute line (not sure it'll ever come to much!) and a good friend Dan suggested a fairly new artist that he was working with from Italy for the project and he didn't disappoint.

There are variants to Absolute: Batman/Wonder Woman/Superman/Flash/Green Lantern and Martian Manhunter out there which are well worth checking out.

They were mainly only released in the UK but I recommend looking out for them if you can find them , especially as they all have an additional 'full bleed' virgin variant with the full piece of art in all it's glory ( extra image here )
