Dampyr #104 (2008) pages 70-71: The next target

The villains are stripping away Harlan's allies one at a time:

(Kurjak) “It was her voice... and even sexier than usual.” (Because it wasn't really Tesla on the phone; it was Lady Druj.)

(Caleb Lost) “And Harlan won't be alone. I have an old score to settle with Nergal, too, and he certainly doesn't expect me to be there.”

“You want to join the fray, my friend?”

“This is my city. I've already faced Nergal in the House of the Two Serpents,* and on the occasion you mentioned, I chased away his naphidim.” (fallen angels)

(Nikolaus) “Suddenly, I feel quite useless. But if you want...”

“You stay out of this, Nik. Wait for us at the bookstore.” (But instead, Nikolaus heads back to the Green Eagle Tavern to hang out with ghosts.)

(Kurjak gets off his motorcycle.) “Now it's best to continue on foot. I'm near Saint Castulus Square, and yet... what's happening to me? My head's in a fog, and I don't know this bloody road. How the devil did I get here? Calm down, Emil. This is no time to get lost and...huh?”

("Tesla" beckons from an alley.) “This way, soldier.”

Note the piles of snow in the street. Lady Druj does not call Kurjak by the right nickname.
