Dampyr #104 (2008) pages 87-88: From the sphinx to the serpent

The giant sphinx's talon stabs Tesla all the way through her right shoulder: “It hurts! It's not possible! No! Ahhh!”

(A giant snake appears and squeezes the sphinx's head until it shatters.) “Ggurrrggg….”

(The sphinx drops Tesla, but as she blacks out, a giant cloak breaks her fall.) “Aahhh...”

(The snake takes on human form as she regains consciousness.) “Here in Eblis, you must always be careful, sweetest daughter of the night... because in the infernal realms, even vampires can be harmed and killed.”

“You!”
