I KNEW you picked this up only for the single panel Supergirl appearance! But I can't blame you, it's a nice early appearance on twice-up board and as you say, having it done by Al Plastino makes it extra special.
Freezing
Best as Brad save a fellow's death on concrete, again
Oh, feeling
Maybe he'll see to get Lorretta, sex for days, ooh yeah
Oh, Lane's out
Pages that he sees time again ain't Bradley Dexter, oh yeah
Oh, Clark's grin
He can't help, when he's happy he looks insane, hm yeah
Plastino, thoughts arrive as Linda cries
Oh, Evilo, so he chases them away
Oh, some page yet, Kent'll begin his life again
Life again, life again
Loretta's adoring gaze in the first panel is a delight. I do have to wonder about a villain who chooses the name "Evilo". Perhaps he was short on time to come up with something better.
A rare gem indeed. ENJOY
The mustache disguise works even better than the glasses!
It's wild that Siegel was still writing Superman in the Silver Age. I wonder what his last story was.
I recall reading that DC rehired him for a short while just to give him some work. Action Comics 334 could be his last issue.
Nice CAL pickup! Silver Age Plastino Supergirl, perfect for your collection - congrats Miki!
Incredible! Congratulations!
Fun page written by Supes's co-creator! Dastardly Superman Revenge Squad panels are humorous context!. Here's what happened when I met Plastino.
