Born from Cartoon Network's World Premiere Toons (also known as What A Cartoon!) series, which showcased 48 original cartoon shorts, the pilot episode of The Powerpuff Girls, "Meat Fuzzy Lumkins", was the first episode to air as part of the series. Since its debut, the show ran for 78 episodes and spawned a feature film, as well as a staggering amount of merchandise, which reportedly netted around $1 billion. Collaborations with the franchise included Burger King, Subway and Kellogg's.

These original production drawings form the foundation of the animation process, dictating movement and character nuances. The girls' expressions are typically determined and a stark warning to their enemies that they're not always sugar, spice and everything nice. This lot consists of three drawings (one mounted) and are each accompanied by a Cartoon Network certificate of authenticity. Dimensions (largest): 45.5 cm x 37 cm (18" x 14.5")
