Description
For those that don't know, Charles is the lead in a simply wonderful, Eisner winning webcomic by Karl Kerschl It was collected and Kickstarted in three volumes. I discovered it in the 3rd Kickstarter and liked it so much I sought out the first two books in hardcover.

The 3rd Kickstarter intro read, "Charles Christopher is an abominable... something... searching for his identity in a forest full of chatty animals, all of whom need his help (whether they know it or not). He's been affectionately described as an idiot.

The story of The Abominable Charles Christopher began way back in 2007 as a long-form webcomic inspired by The Epic of Gilgamesh."

It's been collected in three self-published volumes chronicling Charles' adventures through the Cedar Forest and into the kingdom of the bratty child-king, Gilgamesh. Where volume 3 ends.

Personally, I cannot wait for the fourth volume. Of course, there hasn't been a new strip in nearly two years, but I have faith in Karl. He's Canadian and won't let me down! :)

I hope you enjoy this faux S&S #100 cover.

Beautiful cover with a great composition!  Karl did a remarkable job showing Sugar and Spike in danger.  Really classic suspense themed cover.  Congrats, Alex!
