Eve 'Forever' Carlyle by Michael Lark

Lazarus co-creator and "Gotham Central"/"Daredevil" icon Michael Lark was one of the big names for Dutch Comic Con Fall Edition (November 2025) this year. Being a huge fan of "Gotham Central" (who isn't, right?), it was a great moment to get all of my books (and it was a very, very big pile) signed by him, as well as Greg Rucka.

My favorite creation of theirs is probably the "Lazarus" title at Image Comics, which is month after month hitting awfully close to home now. A great book, with great characters, and a strong message.

Michael did this very quick doodle for me, as we were discussing a potential commission for later.

PS. Greg Rucka is an amazing person. He signed my stack of books, which could only be expressed as "over 80 centimeters of reading goodness", and added quotes in EVERY. SINGLE. ONE.
