Description
1970 - From the Haunted Tank serie
11x17 in

When it comes to DC's war comics, two names stand tall: Joe Kubert and Russ Heath. Heath's decades-long impact across titles like Our Army at War and Star Spangled War Stories set a new bar for technical accuracy. His ability to render tanks, planes, and infantry with realism made him the go-to artist for battlefield action. Among his most iconic work is The Haunted Tank, where WWII grit meets supernatural flair. And if you're a fan of armor, this page from "The Iron Horseman!" delivers, featuring the Haunted Tank scouting a convent on the brink of a Nazi assault in Panel 3, and a stunning last panel loaded with tanks! Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Slight toning, blue pencil editorial marks, whiteout corrections, stripped-in text correction held by tape on the back, minor spot moisture and adhesive staining in the margin, trimmed edges/corner, and light handling wear. In Very Good condition.

This page is right on target. What a great tank panel! I enjoyed your description. It's excellent.
