Description

Miss America is attacked in the sky from behind by two members of the Battle-Axis (Human Meteor and Volton)!

Now captured by Battle-Axis, the remaining members await Miss America on the ground (Doctor Death - - who went on to be Doctor Nemesis - - does that make this page X-adjacent??!?!, Spider-Queen and The Golem)!

This second volume of the Invaders wasn't something I'd read growing up, but when I did a deep dive on the history of Miss America, it quickly became one of the favorites that I would encounter in my reading project.

Who needs the Whizzer when you can get Miss America as hostage?!?! Sweet 90's composition and hyper detail linework to show these golden age stories in a fresh new take!

Cool looking page! I never read the 2nd Invaders volume but I will go ahead and pledge my allegiance to Miss America regardless!
